Bounce Children’s Foundation Earns Better Business Bureau of Chicagoland & Northern Illinois Seal of Approval for Third Consecutive Two-Year Term
Deerfield, IL (Oct. 25, 2022)– Bounce Children’s Foundation®, a not-for-profit organization that transforms the lives of chronically ill children, and their families, shifting all from surviving to thriving, is honored to once again announce that it has earned a two-year Seal of Approval from the Better Business Bureau® of Chicagoland and Northern Illinois’ Wise Giving Alliance (BBB Chicago).
As a BBB Accredited Charity, Bounce Children’s Foundation has committed to abide by the BBB Standards for Charity Accountability, which sends a clear message to donors that they are engaging with a trustworthy organization. Better Business Bureau President & CEO Steve Bernas adds “to maintain their BBB Accreditation, an organization must continuously meet all 20 BBB Charity Standards. By committing to uphold these standards, Bounce Children’s Foundation provides its supporters with the confidence they are engaging with an organization they can trust.”
“Bounce will always remain committed to accountability and is honored to be recognized by BBB of Chicagoland and Northern Illinois for the fifth and sixth consecutive years,” said Joan Steltmann, founder & CEO, Bounce Children’s Foundation. “Our goal is to make certain that our donors, volunteers, those we serve, and the public, know – and trust – that we deliver on our mission and truly transform lives.”
Bobby Lucas, office managing partner, Dinsmore & Shohl, LLC and Bounce Board Chair, added, “As Bounce continues to grow and support more families affected by pediatric chronic illness, I am proud that we have stayed true to our mission. In today’s world, it is imperative that donors know how seriously we take our commitment to ethics and integrity. Being recognized as a BBB Accredited Charity exemplifies that goal.”
Earning the BBB Seal of Approval supports Bounce’s vision of one day offering support to the nearly 1 in 5 U.S. children battling a disease for which there is no cure.
