Matt Groff

Matt Groff is a Principal Director in Health Strategy at Accenture, based in Chicago, where he leads large-scale transformation initiatives for provider organizations and payer-provider ecosystems. He specializes in enterprise operating model redesign, post-merger integration, and the evolution of care delivery models to enable sustainable growth and performance improvement. Matt brings deep expertise in value-based care strategy, provider network development, and aligning clinical, financial, and operational strategies, including the application of AI-enabled solutions to improve healthcare performance. Prior to Accenture, Matt served as Market President at Evolent Health, where he built and led risk-bearing provider organizations and accountable care models across multiple markets. He also held leadership roles at VillageMD, where he helped design and launch a joint venture focused on value-based care delivery, and at PwC, where he led complex M&A engagements in the healthcare sector, including program management for some of the firm’s largest transactions. Matt began his career in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a Master of Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue University.
