Bounce Children’s Foundation Welcomes Perry Sweet to the Board of Directors

 

Deerfield, IL (Mar 22, 2022) – Bounce Children’s Foundation®, a not-for-profit organization that transforms the lives of chronically ill children, and their families, shifting all from surviving to thriving, has elected Perry Sweet to its Board of Directors for a three-year term. Perry is the Executive Vice President, Client Operations at Waystar, where he ensures the client experience is positive and seamless.

 

Perry started his career with IBM where he focused on serving hospitals and healthcare systems. Prior to joining Waystar, Sweet has served as Chief Operating Officer at Recondo Technology, Vice President of Professional Services at Allscripts and Vice President of First Consulting Services.

 

“Bounce’s mission is truly incredible and should be shared far and wide,” said Perry Sweet. “I look forward to focusing my efforts on helping to grow and expand Bounce beyond the Chicago area to reach more families facing the daily challenges presented by pediatric chronic illness.”

Outside of the office, Sweet is very involved in the community having served as a Hospice Board Member, Crisis Center Volunteer and Chicago Food Pantry Volunteer. “Perry has already made a significant difference for our Bounce Families as he has helped to coordinate sponsorships for some of our key programs.  In fact, he was instrumental to holiday themed Bounce Back Kit(R) family care packages even before officially joining our team,” noted Bounce Founder & CEO, Joan Steltmann.

 

Sweet graduated from South Dakota School of Mines & Techology with a Master of Science Degree in Structural Engineering. He lives in LaGrange with his family.
