Bounce Children’s Foundation Welcomes Raquelle “Rocki” Hunter to the Board of Directors

 

Deerfield, IL (Mar. 22, 2022)– Bounce Children’s Foundation®, a not-for-profit organization that transforms the lives of chronically ill children, and their families, shifting all from surviving to thriving, has elected Raquelle (Rocki) Hunter to its Board of Directors for a three-year term. For more than 20 years, Hunter has helped many household brands drive their strategies forward with creative that delivers breakthrough results. As Senior Vice President and Group Management Director for FCB Chicago, she is currently responsible for the the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company and she leads the Civic Engagement Practice for the Agency.

 

Prior to joining FCB, Hunter was the Senior Director of Brand Development for Zoro.com, an eCommerce, digital-first, business products and supplies company, where she was responsible for developing and managing the strategic direction of the brand while overseeing customer insights, brand design, social media, partnerships, agency relationships, communications, and content. And prior to Zoro, she held marketing roles at both ConAgra Foods and P&G where she worked on some of the most respected brands in the world.

 

“My nephew’s journey has shown me how chronic illness impacts both a child and the entire family and that drives my passion for Bounce’s mission,” said Rocki Hunter. “I look forward to using my background in marketing, branding and advertising to bring more awareness to Bounce and to help recruit new families.”

Outside the office, Hunter is very involved in giving back.  She has served as a YouthBuild Lake County Board member from 2016-2020 and is currently a Harvard Business School African-American Alumni Association Admissions Outreach Liaison, the Chair of the St. Paul A.M.E. Church Glencoe Youth Department and the Chair of the Health Facet for the North Shore Chapter of The Links, Inc. “As you would expect, Rocki has already jumped right in and made invaluable contributions to our Wintrust Mural project and our Double Good Popcorn fundraiser.  We are grateful to have her on the team,” noted Bounce Founder & CEO, Joan Steltmann.

 

Hunter graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Spelman College, received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and received her Master’s Degree in Business from Harvard Business School. Hunter lives in Highland Park with her family.
