Nicole Henning elected to three year term on Bounce Board of Directors
DEERFIELD, IL. (June 8, 2016) — Bounce Children’s Foundation is pleased to announce the election of Nicole Henning, a Partner at the law firm Jones Day, to a three year term on its Board of Directors. She will also serve on the Development Committee.
Among her many accomplishments, Henning’s vast experience with pro bono matters makes her an extremely valuable team member to a not-for-profit organization like Bounce. “Nicole’s versatile experience has prepared her well to help us grow Bounce Children’s Foundation,” noted Board Chair and KPMG Partner, Corey Martens. “We welcome her to the board and look forward to working with her to help the children and families we serve move from simply surviving to truly thriving.”
Henning is part of Jones Day’s Issues and Appeals group, and focuses her law practice on analyzing and briefing complex legal issues at both the trial and appellate level. In the course of her legal career she has litigated all manners of claims, including white collar criminal matters, whistleblower claims under the False Claims Act, wrongful death claims, products liability claims, and contract claims. She previously served as a Law Clerk to Hon. Joel M. Flaum, United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit (2005-2006).

Henning was named an Illinois Rising Star by Illinois SuperLawyers magazine in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Henning received her B.S. in Journalism at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002, where she was a Bronze Tablet recipient. She then went on to receive her J.D. from Yale Law School in 2005.
