PAMELA DIAZ ELECTED TO BOUNCE CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION® BOARD OF DIRECTORS

DEERFIELD, Ill. (April 17, 2018) – Bounce Children’s Foundation® (Bounce), a non-profit organization supporting chronically-ill children and their families, announced today the election of Pamela Diaz to its Board of Directors. Ms. Diaz is President and Chief Integrator for YJT Solutions, an IT Managed Services Provider. In this role, she manages the operations, finance, business development and strategy departments; integrates the vision, projects and ideas of the CEO, and oversees the company’s overall growth.

“I am confident Pam’s vast experience in strategic analysis and planning, budgeting and project management will be extremely valuable to Bounce’s further development,” said Corey Martens, board chair, Bounce Children’s Foundation, and partner, Grant Thornton LLP’s U.S. Forensic Advisory Services. “Her experience will help us reach our current goals and strive toward new ones.”

Ms. Diaz is looking forward to utilizing her professional skills and expertise for Bounce. Having heard about Bounce from a coworker, she then volunteered on the assembly of Bounce Back Kits®.

“When I met Joan and learned about Bounce, I was very impressed, and humbled, by how much the team has accomplished since 2015,” Ms. Diaz said. “The focus on helping and supporting chronically-ill children, their siblings and families touched my heart deeply. There is a focus on growing Bounce nationally and my extensive background in operations will lend itself to achieving this vision.”

“Because we’re growing our presence and increasing the number of Bounce families supported each year, it’s important to have board members, like Pam, who know how to grow and scale companies, on our team,” said Joan Steltmann, chief executive officer, Bounce Children’s Foundation. “Pam will help advance the mission of our organization and expand our reach.”

Ms. Diaz earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Northern Illinois University.  She has also received her ITIL Foundations Certification and the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Certification.
