Steve Mack

Stephen Mack retired from both ABN Amro Bank and its wholly owned subsidiary, LaSalle Bank Corporation, as Executive Vice President responsible of audit operations, where he also served on LaSalle Bank’s Executive Committee and ABN Amro’s Global Management Committee.

Steve began his career with Ernst & Young LLP where he advanced to Managing Partner of the Springfield Office, Midwest Regional Director for Financial Services, and the Lake Michigan Area Financial Services practice unit leader.

A longtime advocate for children and families, Steve is delighted to become a Bounce Trustee.  In addition, he currently serves as a Trustee for Kids Above All (Treasurer & Finance Committee Chair) and on the Board of Governors for Northwestern University Library (past chair).

Steve is an honorary life trustee of Children’s Home and Aid Society of Illinois having previously served as both Chair and Treasurer of the Board of Trustees. He has also served as a Director/Trustee for Children’s Home & Aid Society Foundation, United Way of Sangamon County, AIDS Foundation of Chicago, Chicago Opera Theater, National Runaway Safeline, Music of the Baroque, INROADS/Chicago, Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, Council on Accreditation, Alzheimer’s Association-Greater Illinois Chapter.  His involvement with the Alzheimer’s Association included serving as the Greater Illinois Chapter’s representative to the Alzheimer’s Association Delegate Assembly, including a two-year term as vice-chair of the Assembly’s steering committee. He also was a member of the national Alzheimer’s Association’s Strategic Plan Steering Committee which developed the three-year strategic plan.

Steve holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified risk professional (CRP).
