Michael (Mick) Rennick serves as an Audit Partner and the Central Region Industry Leader in Grant Thornton’s Chicago office. He has more than 20 years of experience providing a wide range of accounting and auditing services to both publicly-traded and privately held companies.
He is experienced in assisting publicly held companies with fulfilling their requirements for the Securities and Exchange Commission, including compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Mick’s clients are multi-national and have operations requiring coordination of services in countries such as Germany, Czech Republic, Brazil, France, Portugal, India, Mexico, Romania, UK, Sweden, and China.
Mick began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he started his work for multi-national clients. He joined Grant Thornton’s Southfield (Detroit), Michigan office in 2004, then transitioned to the Chicago office a few years after.
He is a member of the Illinois Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, a former chair of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants International Task Force. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a Global Manufacturing Accounting Conference committee member, and a former member of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Global Connections Forum. Reflecting his passion for giving back to the community, he has previously served on several not-for-profits boards, and is excited about helping Bounce grow to support more families both in Chicagoland and beyond.
Mick graduated from Albion College with a BS degree in accounting and finance. He lives in the suburbs with his family.
