AMY MURRAY ELECTED TO BOUNCE CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION® BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 

DEERFIELD, Ill. (April 11, 2018) – Bounce Children’s Foundation ® (Bounce), a not-for-profit organization supporting children battling chronic illness, and their loved ones, is pleased to announce the election of Amy Murray to its Board of Directors.

Ms. Murray is responsible for the vision and strategy for global family marketing in over 120 countries as Senior Director of Global Family Marketing at McDonald’s Corporation. She has a broad range of professional expertise, including brand-building, creative asset development, talent management, corporate communication, vision and strategy development, and business planning and agency management.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Murray’s past roles include: Senior Manager of U.S. Communications; Director of European Marketing; and Senior Director of Family and Sports Marketing in Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa for McDonald’s Corporation.

“Amy is skilled at setting, and achieving, clear strategic visions,” said Corey Martens, board chair, Bounce Children’s Foundation, and partner, Grant Thorton LLP’s U.S. Forensic Advisory Services. “We are excited to leverage her experience in marketing strategy, brand development, and team building for one of the top brands worldwide, on behalf of the kids and families we serve.”

Ms. Murray also brings extensive volunteer service to her role with Bounce, including serving on the Marketing Committee of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland; Grant Researcher at Ronald McDonald House of Washington D.C.; Gala Co-Chair of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Singapore; and Camp Counselor at One Step at a Time Camp.

Ms. Murray completed her B.A. in Communications at Boston College and her M.A. in European Studies at Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven, Belgium.
