News Release – Dave Zitlow

DAVE ZITLOW ELECTED TO BOUNCE CHILDREN’S® FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS 

DEERFIELD, Ill. (March 26, 2017) – Bounce Children’s Foundation®, a non-profit organization that supports chronically ill children and their families, announced today the election of David Zitlow, executive vice president, Spectrum Science Communications, to its board of directors. Mr. Zitlow will serve a three-year term.

Mr. Zitlow has more than 25 years of experience in health care marketing and communications, with expertise ranging from issues management and advocacy to market development and product launches. As a member of Spectrum’s executive leadership team, Mr. Zitlow oversees the firm’s health technology practice and leads the Chicago office. During his career, Mr. Zitlow has served in strategic communications positions at Abbott Laboratories, Cord Blood Registry and McDonald’s Corporation. He also has held leadership roles for the healthcare practices of global firms Golin and Burson-Marsteller.

“Dave’s deep healthcare communications experience, strong work ethic, and market development experience will benefit our Foundation and the Board,” noted Corey Martens, board chair, Bounce Children’s Foundation and forensic accounting partner, KPMG. “He embodies Bounce’s principles and will be instrumental in helping Bounce enhance our impact and extend our reach to more children and families.”

“I am passionate about helping to build a sustainable organization that addresses a current unmet need — easing the multiple burdens faced by families with chronically ill children,” said Mr. Zitlow. “I am motivated by the life-changing support that Bounce provides and look forward to contributing to the work of this truly unique organization.”

Mr. Zitlow earned a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University.
