Bounce Children’s Foundation Welcomes Michael (Mick) Rennick to the Board of Directors
Deerfield, IL (December 14, 2022) – Bounce Children’s Foundation®, a not-for-profit organization that transforms the lives of chronically ill children, and their families, from surviving to thriving, has elected Michael (Mick) Rennick to its Board of Directors for a three-year term. Mick is an Audit Partner and the Central Region Industry Leader located in Grant Thornton’s Chicago office focusing on enhancing the value brought to his clients in a number of industries. He has more than 20 years of experience providing a wide range of accounting and auditing services to both publicly traded and privately held companies, including those with extensive international operations.
Mick began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was responsible for providing numerous services for multinational clients. He joined Grant Thornton’s Southfield (Detroit), MI office in 2004, then transitioned to the Chicago office in 2015. Throughout his career, he has provided services to dozens of global clients across a wide range of industries in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
“Bounce’s mission hit home after watching a family member and her chronically ill child face an endless number of daunting challenges,” said Mick Rennick. “I am really excited about helping Bounce grow so it can help more families, and I value the opportunity to teach my kids about giving back by having them engage as volunteers as well.”

Outside of the office, Rennick is very involved in the accounting and auditing industry. He is a member of the Illinois Association of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and a former chair of its international task force. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a Global Manufacturing Accounting Conference committee member, and a former member of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Global Connections Forum. Reflecting his passion for giving back to the community, he has previously served on many non-for-profits boards.
Mick graduated from Albion College with a BS degree in accounting and finance. He lives in the suburbs with his family.
